Baraka is a Tarkatan who first appeared in Mortal Kombat II. Baraka is the member of the Tarkatan, a tribe of nomadic mutants. He lead the band of Tarkatans to attack the Wu Shi Academy in Earthrealm on the command of Shao Kahn. During the Mortal Kombat tournament, he partnered with Kitana's half-Tarkatan clone Mileena.
